Photolytic oxidation is the mode of action that ensures that organic substances such as fats or odorous substances are cold burned or destroyed.
This is done by irradiating the contaminated kitchen exhaust air with VUV light. The ozone that is produced for a short period of time ensures oxidation.
The special UV-C ozone lamps from VOMO Air intended for this purpose, which generate ozone with the help of vacuum UV radiation at 185 nm, are used in hood housings directly behind the aerosol separators. This makes it easier to clean and maintain kitchen exhaust air systems at longer intervals.
KitTech
KitTech ist ein kompaktes, sehr effektiv arbeitendes UV-C Ozon Reinigungssystem, welches alle Anforderungen an moderne Abluftprozesse optimal erfüllt und ohne großen Aufwand in neue oder bestehende Abluftanlagen integriert werden kann. Typische Anwendungsbereiche für das KitTec-System sind die Lebensmittelindustrie, die Hotellerie und (System-) Gastronomie sowie Großküchen und Kantinen; überall dort, wo in der Küche bei Arbeitsprozessen Fette und Öle erhitzt werden und die stark fettbelastete Abluft zu Problemen beim Brandschutz oder zu einer Geruchsbelästigung führen kann. Der einzigartige Aufbau des KitTech von VOMO Air entspricht der DIN 18869-7, ermöglicht eine konsequente Reinigung der Küchenabluft, minimiert den Wartungsaufwand und die Brandschutzauflagen, da mit KitTech je nach Anwendung bis zu 99% der Fette und bis zu 90% der Gerüche minimiert werden können. Die Rückstände sind 100% biologisch abbaubar.
